Carbon Fiber Wraps
Traditionally, the only options for strengthening deteriorating concrete or failing structure members were to remove and replace it with new concrete and reinforcing steel, add external post-tensioning, or to add structural steel supports (shoring). Today, there is a more cost-effect and less evasive options for strengthening existing structural systems.
A carbon fiber wrap offers extremely high tensile strength that when bonded properly to the exterior of a concrete column, beam, or slab, adds significant strength without adding significant weight or increased load on foundations or other structural members.
